Improving health outcomes in underserved communities means bridging gaps in healthcare and research. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers promise to support medical professionals in data analysis and facilitating informed decision-making. Leveraging AI may improve diagnostic accuracy and help to deliver personalized treatments, ultimately enhancing patient care, but there are ethical challenges that need to be overcome to realize the promise of AI-enhanced care for all people.
